Barbara L. B. Storey is a writer, photographer, and digital artist. She loves to write, to read, to travel, and is also crazy about baseball. She was born and now lives in Canada, but is a former resident of New York City and misses it very much.

She's also particularly fond of certain book series - The Lord of the Rings, and Outlander - of poetry, historical fiction, mysteries and thrillers, biographies, and history of almost any kind, but particularly art and political.

She has lived several different, interesting lives in both North America and Europe, but through them all, one thing has remained true: creating is essential. Writing or art - as long as she is making something and telling a story, she is happy.
 

"Finding Our Way: An Improbable Romance in Three Parts" is her first novel - a contemporary romance about Becca and Jon, two people who should never have met.  But they are stranded in the middle of nowhere because of a series of odd mistakes, and against all odds, they fall in love. But what's going to happen to their idyllic love when they get back to their "real" lives? (A sequel to this story is in the works!)

 

"Need: An Erotic Anthology" is a collection of short stories that range from sweet to sad to spicy.  Something for everyone.   And "Beginning Again - A Short Romantic Adventure" is a tale of love found and lost and found again. 

 

Barbara is also the owner and editor-in-chief of a small press publishing house that caters to indie authors in all genres.  Since October 2022, Storeylines Press  has released seven books, with two more titles to come before the end of Summer 2024.  She also offers editing services for those who don't need a publisher through Book Doula Editorial Services
